Bulk Earthworks - Lease Pad Construction
Hiesler Contracting was engaged by Suffcon to deliver this scope of works on behalf of APA. This project was a large scale bulk earthworks job in which multiple pads were constructed under conformance and tight tolerances, 0mm + 20mm. Each pad was built with layered testing. Once all pads were constructed to height, they were capped with imported 2.1 gravels and final trimmed. Road Repair & Maintenance
Hiesler Contracting was engaged by Suffcon on behalf of Western Downs Region Council to provide road restoration works following extensive flood damage in the area. Our scope of works consisted of various treatments, 100mm, 75mm and 50mm imported gravel incorporation, as well as drainage repairs and hard formation grading depending on the package scope of works.Storage Cell Ponds
On this project, Hiesler Contracting was engaged by Suffcon on behalf of We-Kando as the final trim grader hire company. Our scope of work consisted of supervision and direction of plant in the field (including scrapers, dozers, roller and trucks) as well as control of moisture and compaction schedules. The aim for this project was to build a storage dam with high permeable materials as per testing. Once materials were mixed, the scrapers would run this material to the graders’ work zones to achieve a 300mm lift before testing. This process was repeated until the desired height was achieved. At completion, Hiesler Contracting conducted the final trim for all floors to a conformed tolerance of -5mm + 10mm and ensure finish was to the highest standard possible. Once this was achieved, the ponds were then lined with a 1.5mm HDPE poly liner. This job was completed to a high standard and we still complete regular works for this Principal Contractor to date.Flood Recovery Project (North)
Hiesler Contracting was engaged by Georgiou Group to complete road restoration works across the Toowoomba Regional Council area. The first stage of works commenced in the Oakey area before moving north to Yarraman and surrounds.
This project is part of the Toowoomba Regional Council 2022 Flood Recovery Program jointly funded by the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA). The scope of works included gravel road re-sheeting and formation grading, repair of scour damage to road formation and table drains.
